Bryce Bedilion Named Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club November Student of the Month

Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Bryce Bedilion as its student of the month for November.

Son of Beth and Dan Bedilion of Clarksville, Bedilion is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where he maintains a 3.59 GPA.

Bedilion is a three-year member of the Principal’s Council, a four-year honor student, a four-year letter man in varsity golf, varsity rifle, and a returning captain for varsity baseball. Outside of school, Bedilion finds enjoyment in hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors.

As a freshman, Bedilion made the all county and all section teams for baseball. He was also named the Greene Sports Player of the Month. Moving onto sophomore year, Bedilion made the all county and all section baseball teams and was awarded the 2019 Herald Standard player to watch.  Throughout high school, Bedilion was a member of the three time section champion rifle team. He made 3rd place Team PA State Rifle Champion his sophomore year, and 7th place Team PA State Rifle Champion his junior year. He was also named the 2020 Herald Standard player to watch.

As a student at Greene County Career and Technical Center, Bedilion was awarded the Certificate of Attendance, the Honor Roll Award, inducted into the National Technical Honor Society, and he served as a member of the Electrical Occupations Occupational Advisory Committee.

Bedilion serves his community by volunteering for the Colby’s Stars Foundation where he helped set and clean up for the kickball tournaments and other fundraisers. He also volunteers as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army.

After graduation, Bryce would like to enter the First Energy Power Systems Institute to become a lineman. He wants to also continue to play baseball in some capacity after high school.
