Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Skylar Dickens as its student of the month for February.

Daughter of Jeni and Roger Hager of Clarksville, Dickens is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where she maintains a 4.375 GPA.

Dickens is a four-year member of Envirothon, Engineering Club, Debate Team, Upward Bound, Leo Club, and National Honor Society. She also participated in band, PAC, Spanish Club, and Entrepreneurship Club.

Dickens is a volunteer for Jefferson Baptist Church Vacation Bible School, and she volunteers for Carmichael’s American Legion. She helps pack backpacks for the school’s weekend food program, participates in the Keep America Beautiful Roadside Cleanup Program, and helps place flags to honor veterans.  She is currently petitioning her local community to create a park.

After graduation, Dickens plans to attend college or apply to the United States Air Force. She would like to pursue a STEM or law-related career.
