Blood Drive Was a Success!
The blood drive, that was held on Monday 18th, was a huge success. The event was conducted by the National Honor Society, and it was held in the high school gym.
This year, the National Honor Society was able to receive blood from 30 donors, exceeding the clubs goal of 25. Blood was donated from students, as well as members of the community. The drive was an overall success, and it sets a new standard for future blood drives.
“I gave blood for the first time at the drive,” said Julie Kline. “It was kinda scary at first, but it really wasn’t that bad.”
A big thank you goes out to Mrs. Huba as well as all of the volunteers that made the event possible.
