Michael Pochran is a sophomore and is on the Rifle team.

“I have been working with guns for a long time and I decided instead of selling them I would like to shoot competitively” he said. Michael has been on the rifle team for two years now.  Michael says his best score was 96 4x. The x means that you hit the bulls eye that many times.

The way he prepares in the off season is by going to the range about once or twice a week to shoot.

“We tell them that rifle team requires a lot of commitment and dedication. They must also shoot well if they want a letter on their letterman’s jacket (they must shoot within the top 8 for half of our matches)” Michael says is good advice for the underclassmen.

Michael is looking forward to meet new people at all of the other school and also good places to eat.
