Planning Guide to Holiday Fun
With their only being 18 days till Christmas we need to get a move on decorating!
It doesn’t feel like Christmas is that close. I hope everyone has their Christmas shopping done or almost done.
Even if you are not done, gather your materials for wrapping the presents you already have. You will need to grab, wrapping paper, scissors, tape, boxes, bags, tissue paper, and presents of course. Do not wait till the last minute to wrap presents or shop.
It’s about time to start decorating outside if you have not already started. Get your Santa Clauses, reindeer, snowmen, or whatever else you having hiding in your garage and put them outside. String lights around the house and make your house the brightest on the block. Wrap garland around the porch or ribbons.
We can’t forget about decorating the inside of the house. Putting the tree up, putting out festive flowers and fake snows with little houses and people. Bring up the totes with bulbs and start putting them on the tree, grab some hot cocoa, and enjoy family time. Get a ladder and put the tree topper on and some ribbon or bows.
After you are all done, sit down grab a cup of hot cocoa or coffee and watch a movie, maybe a Christmas one too.
This should be a fun time, and if there is any snow, get dressed and go outside and play. Make snowballs, and have a snowball fight, go sled riding, or make snow angels.
