Jefferson-Morgan Food Drive
Jefferson Morgan Middle School Student Council is hosting food drive February 11th through March 1 to benefit the weekend food program. Each homeroom in our middle-senior high school was asked to raise $75 as a goal.
Requested food items include non-perishable foods like canned corn and soup, juice boxes and milk. The foods that will be collected are supposed to be easily cooked or prepared. The bags packed are also packed to be under 5 pounds so that they can be transported from school to home with ease. Each Friday student in the program gets 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 dinners, and 2 snacks for the weekend.
The homeroom that collects the most money will be rewarded with a pizza party. There will be a high school winner and a middle school winner for the pizza party.
