This summer students plan on getting jobs. Students who just turned sixteen are looking forward to making some money or upset that their summer has kind of been taken away from them because of work. Students get to go out in the world and actually start being more independent. Some students plan on getting summer jobs because they are too busy during school and others are working for a bit more permanent job to go throughout the year. Some students will probably take up jobs as lifeguards, somewhere close by or anywhere they can get.

Summertime is an opportunity for new things. Students also have many events over the summer. Some might be celebrating their sweet sixteen or just a family vacation. Some older students are also hosting graduation parties. Other students are just looking forward to concerts since this summer there is supposed to many.

The rest of the students are looking forward to hanging out with new or old friends. Being with friends is one of the best parts of the summertime season. There are sleepovers for three days and staying up for ridiculous hours making some amazing memories. Also, getting to see friends who are far away and reconnecting with them.

The last part about summer students are looking forward to is summer sports. There are many summer leagues so student-athletes can get better for the coming year. Summer leagues give athletes the chance to meet new people, learn moves they never have and have some crazy fun experiences. Students who do summer leagues with their school team also learn, grow, and connect better with the team which can make for a better future season.
