The Benefits of Being a Working Student

I believe every student who is eligible to work should work. Many students graduate without ever having a job. Researchers have found that the number of teenagers who work while in school has dropped from nearly 40 percent to just 20 percentĀ  within the last 30 years.

Most teenagers, not all. are unemployed by choice. An example of this would be the upper-middle-class and wealthy families. Children from all age groups that come from wealthy families have no responsibility for that reason alone. Children are being raised spoiled and being given everything they want without ever having to work for it.

Some students are not able to work because they participate in school sports. Sports offer scholarships for college and focusing on that is helping your future.

Students who are employed while in high school are better at time management, they are more respectful, more responsible, they stay out of trouble, and they stay motivated to study harder so they can achieve career goals.

I believe that students that are employed while in high school are learning many things that the unemployed generation is lacking.
