Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Tanner Jones as its student of the month for April.

Son of Demarie and Shawn Jones of Jefferson, Jones is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School. He is enrolled in the Building Construction Operations at Greene County Career and Technical Center.

Jones is a member of JM Marching Band, concert band, and the football team.

He is the recipient of an academic excellence award.  He has also received a perfect attendance award, and he was named student of the quarter.

Jones plans to Pittsburgh Technical College to enter the Welding Technology Program.
