Elijah David is a sophomore and a Point Guard for the J-M Boys Varsity Basketball team.

Elijah has been working hard all year to improve himself and to prove himself as a vital member of the basketball team. He said “Over the summer I’ve played basketball almost every day, just sitting at the courts and having a great time.”

Basketball takes time effort and practice to improve even the slightest mistake. Elijah has worked hard and taken his time to improve. He has been working hard for many years, whether its improving his jump shot to being able to make a simple layup every time.

Elijah was asked if he could give any advice to the underclassmen,  he had said “It takes time and effort to be able to play great team basketball. If I had to give advice to the underclassmen it would be, be patient and take your time, and to practice hard.”

Elijah hopes the whole Varsity team has a great season.
