Aaron Weaver-Athlete Biography

Aaron Weaver is a senior and a teammate of the Jefferson Morgan Rockets baseball team.

Aaron Weaver has played baseball for 10 years now and has had multiple sources of motivation to go throughout those 10 years. His great grandpa has played baseball previously, but that is his only family member. “If I ever need advice, I go to the coaches on the team if I need help with a certain aspect of the game,” said Aaron Weaver. However, his two biggest motivations are himself and his love for the game.

Aaron gets the most enjoyment out of the game just by playing the sport, he believes it it fun along with his friends. His favorite memory is whenever he hit an inside-the-park homerun in Pony. However, his worst memory also took place in Pony, when he overthrew the cut-off man from the outfield in a championship game. His favorite position to play is in right field.  Aaron’s biggest goal this season is to be a team player and help get his team to the post season. He finds that there is no bigger accomplishment than sending a ball soaring into the outfield.

“Do not show up to conditioning when you are out of shape,” said Aaron Weaver. This is his advice to someone who would plan to play baseball next year. “I prepare for baseball and conditioning by running, lifting weights, and going to a batting cage in the off-season,” said Aaron Weaver. He feels like he needs to work on his batting the most in baseball.

Aaron loves to play baseball whether it is against his hardest opponent, California, or not. He plans to never break his love for the game.
