Gage Clark – Athlete Biography

Gage Clark is on the Jefferson-Morgan Boys’ Varsity Basketball team.

Gage has been playing basketball for 5 years. He plays the guard position, and his uniform number is 11. His last game he scored 2 points. This season, Gage is looking forward to playing more than he did last year. Last year, Gage had no stats to record. “Even though I did not play a lot last year, I enjoyed being there for team support, and I had fun at the practices,” said Gage Clark.

Gage has had many memories throughout the years he has played basketball. His favorite memory is when he made a 3 point shot in the Carmichaels Tournament. Gage has always stayed positive, and in result he has had no bad memories of the past 5 years. Gage prefers home games, and the hardest opponent he has to play is Monessen.

Gage’s support can be found from multiple sources. His mom, dad, and brother have all played basketball, therefore they all also go to his games and support him. Gage’s go to people on his team when he needs support on his good or bad days is his brother Austin Clark, and Rece Henneman. Also, Gage’s favorite professional is Lebron James. He likes him because he finds him to be great at basketball, and he wants to follow in his footsteps. “I don’t have much inspiration for playing other than the fact that I like the sport,” said Gage Clark.

Gage’s advice for any underclassmen that want to play basketball or are playing basketball is to just keep working on your skills. Also, you should just have fun with the game.
