The Jefferson- Morgan Science Olympiad Team competed in the Pennsylvania Science Olympiad’s Southwest Regional on March 6, 2019,  at California University.

The Science Olympiad is a state wide competition based on science, technology, engineering, and math skills. The competitions include 43 different Pennsylvania schools! Students apart of the team must have a completed model or study material to be able to compete in March. Jefferson Morgan’s  team is in need of more builders to become more competitive, so if you enjoy building models or just learning about basic mechanics, see Mrs. Cox or Mrs. Kniha.

Science Olympiad is a great way to extend your knowledge of science, engineering, and more! “I really like the range of events that they have. I think it is a good opportunity for anyone interested in science, and for students to discover what they like and to just have fun,” said team member Bria Jamison.
