Easter is such an amazing holiday! A family tradition my family does is to have an Easter Dinner every year with dessert! There are some cute desserts to bake and make you Easter Egg-tastic.
A great dessert that is egg-cellent to put on the table is carrot cake muffins. Not everyone is a fan of carrot cake but it is like the pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. You have to have carrot cake or muffins on your dessert table at Easter. This is a mixture of coffee cake and carrot cake that has a lot of moisture and a rich buttery flavor. The ingredients needed are 1 1/4 cups of all-purpose four, 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. kosher salt, 2 large eggs, 1 cup of granulated sugar, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, 1 1/3 cup finely grated fresh carrot. For the final dessert to put on your table for Easter is Lemon Crinkle Cookies. These Lemon Cookies could light up your day in seconds(Not kidding). These cookies have a bright yellow color to them that makes your Easter feel bright. The ingredients that you will need are 2 1/3 cup all-purpose flour, 3/4 baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp. ground turmeric, 1/2 tsp. kosher salt, 1 cup granulated sugar (divided), 2 tbsp. lemon zest, 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened), 1 large egg (room temperature), 1 large egg yolk (room temperature), 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1 1/2 tsp, vanilla extract, and 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar.
