Emotions can be a good or bad thing, sometimes if you have too much of one a problem might occur.

For example when you are angry your body build up a lot of stress. And when your body is stressed for a long period of time it can start to affect you. Some of the symptoms that you might acquire are headaches, insomnia, high blood pressure and it could also lead you to a fatal heart attack.

Another emotion that could possible have a negative effect on your body is sadness. It can lead to a mood disorder called depression. Depression is a brain disorder that can lead to much emotional anguish. It can physically affect your heart and your immune system. Other ways that depression can affect you are decreased appetite, increased aches and pains and lack of deep sleep, or oversleeping

Jealousy can also have a negative effect on you. When you are jealous it causes you to make some of the wrong choices. When you are jealous you are more likely to jump to conclusions.

Most emotions have a positive effect on your life but some of them could cause you physical or mental harm.
