The Big Jump
With the third nine weeks almost over the countdown is on for graduation. Seniors are about to start their lives in the real world as adults. Teachers all year have taught their students hoping that they will be prepared for what is about to come. Time can only tell if students are ready for the big jump that is about to happen.
This school year has gone by very fast for us seniors here at Jefferson Morgan. We have made friends and memories at this school over the years. Everything we have learned will carry on with us in the future. Graduating school is going to be different, but I feel that I am prepared for the tasks I will face. Everything will be pointed back to Jefferson Morgan, everything from classes to grades. All of our knowledge, as seniors, is reflected from this school, and we honor the time and effort that the teachers have taken to teach us everything we know.
I can still remember my first days of school, everything from going on my first bus ride to my first “A”. It feels like just yesterday I learned the first five letters of the alphabet. I am going to miss everything about school, meeting my friends, cramming for tests, and accidentally falling asleep in class when I did not get enough sleep the night before. This place has grown on me and I will take the memories everywhere I go in the future. I am not going to waist the knowledge I have gained from twelve years of school. I am going to take this and put it into a career that will get me through life the way I want to live it. When I look back at where it all started I am going to say, Jefferson Morgan.
