Tomorrow I am finally turning seventeen and I am very excited. I remember my fifth birthday as a kid and now I made it all the way here. The time went very fast, but it is here. I will be turning seventeen and getting closer to being an adult. My age has come where I will graduate and move into life and get a job. With becoming a year older there will be more responsibilities that I will face.

For this birthday I am sure that I am getting a truck. That is something I have wanted so badly because I can do a lot with it. A truck would fulfill all of my hobbies and the things that I cannot do with a car. I race motocross, hunt, fish, wakeboard, and ski. A car cannot transport my dirt bike to the track or carry a deer out of the woods when hunting season comes around. A truck answers all the questions I have on how to do this. A truck will be very convenient for me and what I love to do. Depending on people is hard because I have to work around their schedules and they do not always go my way.

My birthday is a time that I love not only because it is my day, but because I spend it with my friends and family. I like spending time with my family because we are not always together. Only one more day to go until my birthday and I am pumped. The week before feels like forever because I am always thinking about it, but it finally came. I do not want to get older, but it happens. Getting older brings responsibility and going further in life, especially graduating and getting a real job. Another year is right around the corner and many more to go in the future.
