Motivation is Key
Motivation is the key for one to be successful. Without motivation there is no ambition to reach a goal. One has to be motivated to cut the grass or take out the trash. Those are just little examples; people take motivation and put it into something bigger, like careers and lifetime goals. People are motivated to do anything, especially sports. Anything in this world takes a little motivation and effort.
When I race motocross I need a lot of motivation behind me to do well. What motivates me to race is my dad. I want to make him very proud and I want to make a good image for myself when I am out on the track. Sitting on the gate and listening to the bikes roaring makes me want to try even harder to get the holeshot. Everything I do I am motivated with one goal set on my mind and I will not stop or let up until that goal is achieved.
My motivation is tested trying to wake up to go to the gym every morning at 5:00. I do not think anyone wants to wake up at that time when they can be sleeping, but when I look in the mirror at my progression, I want to keep going and work harder. My motivation ties into motocross because when I am pushing myself to lift and get in shape, I am looking at how much faster I can go on the track and how much more control I have of the bike.
Everyone needs to be motivated in everything they do. With no motivation goals will not be reached and things will not be done right. If someone was not motivated to cut the grass, the effort put into doing the job would not be too great. Success is key and without motivation no success is made.
