Trump Doing What He Promised?

I will build a great wall — and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me –and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.

— President Donald J. Trump

President Trump has already signed 12 official orders to further his campaign promises and extend his plans.

Recently, President Donald J. Trump signed an order to begin building the infamous “wall” along the border. He has kept true to his promise and is asking for the estimated $14 billion to begin construction, soon.

According to PBS, “This order also directs the hiring of an additional 5,000 border patrol agents, subject to funding. And it requires that all agencies identify any U.S. aid funds that have gone to Mexico in the past five years.”

Trump has also placed a temporary hold on all incoming immigration, until tougher visa restrictions are in place.

The shocking thing about his acts is that when he stated in his speeches that he was going to initiate these policies, he was wildly mocked. The wall was the main source of the mocking, especially when Trump stated that he was going to make Mexico pay for it.

“I will build a great wall — and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me –and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words,” stated Trump.

Trump has also signed a notice saying the US will be, “withdrawing from the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal with 11 other Pacific countries.” He stated, “it’s a great thing for the American worker.”

In all Trump is sticking to his promises by creating more jobs (both construction and patrol), putting stricter immigration policies in place, and keeping American workers in America.
