On Saturday, May 4th 2019, Jefferson-Morgan held their annual prom at the Lakeview Resort in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Part of the annual tradition of prom here at J-M is Grim Reaper Day. This day is held each year the Friday before prom and warns students about the dangers of distracted driving. Throughout the day situations are announced that determine the fictional deaths of certain students. Those students are not permitted to talk for the rest of the day.

On Saturday night before prom, Grand March is held in the J-M Auditorium. This year, it began at 4:30. Students were escorted across the stage by their dates and family and friends were permitted to come to the auditorium and watch. At the end of Grand March, the 2019 Prom Queen and King were announced. This year the prom king was Keaton Cratty and prom queen was Madison Kovach.

The prom began at 6:00 and students were served dinner around 6:30. The dance did not end until 10:30 pm and students were permitted to leave at 9:30.
