Gavin Teasdale is a first year journalism student and a junior at Jefferson Morgan.

Teasdale has many goals and plans for his future. Many students have goals and plans that they would like to accomplish before they graduate.  Some of these goals and plans are personally meant to be accomplished before graduation. It may be revolving around something that they already started in their high school journey. Teasdale has many plans for after graduation.

Teasdale said, “Before I graduate I want to be a four time undefeated wrestling state champion.” Teasdale also said, “After I graduate I want to be an Olympic champ.”

Wrestling plays a big part of Teasdale’s life. When you find your sport it becomes important and you stick with it, learn new things and become better at it. Hard work plays off because it may lead to future awards and accomplishments. For the years that Teasdale has wrestled he has been rewarded many awards and achieved many goals.

Teasdale said, “Yes, I have won two state titles, two Fargo titles and a two time world team member.” Teasdale also said, “I am not too proud of anything that I have accomplished yet. I want to get an Olympic title.”

When Teasdale is not at wrestling matches or on the road to compete he also enjoys other interests and hobbies.  It is important to have other interests in young people’s lives to enjoy as well. Teasdale enjoys chilling in front of the television and loves to Jet Ski.

Teasdale said,” I love watching golf and chilling with my friends.”

Teasdale’s love for wrestling has brought him a long way and his journey is not over.
