Senior, Allie Royer, has always had a nag for Art since she was little and her love for the hobby grew as she joined the Jefferson-Morgan Art Club.

As her senior year slowly comes to an end 9th grade English teacher, Mrs. Gratchic, asked Royer to paint a moral on her wall outside her room that would represent a book she was teaching next year. Mrs. Gratchic is currently the high schools 9th grade English teacher but will move onto 10th grade next year taking on the book, “To Kill a Mockingbird.” She wanted something fun and uplifting to brighten the hallways and this was the perfect idea!

So, the next time you are walking down the hall make sure you keep an eye out for Royer’s art!
