Savannah Saeson-Athlete Biography

Savannah Saeson is a freshman and a distance runner for the rocket track team.

This year is Savannah’s first year participating in track. “I participate because I love being a part of a team,” says Savannah. Her events are the 4×8 relay, 4×4 relay, the 400 meter, and the 200 meter dash. Her biggest fan is her mom. The sports she plays in the off season help her train for the following track season.

Savannah loves the feeling of running. Pushing herself to the absolute limit is something she loves to do. Savannah’s dad ran cross country and track so he inspired her to participate as well. She feels this will create a good bond between him and her. Her mom is always there to support her. She encourages Savannah to do her best.

Savannah’s favorite memory involving track is practice. Everyone there is nice and supportive. They help her with what she needs improvement on. When asked what advice she would give to other people Savannah said, “Always push yourself to beat your previous time.” Beating your time is a good accomplishment in track. Seeing your speed increase each meet shows off how much practice and effort has been put into winning.

In conclusion Savannah has enjoyed her first year of track. She loves being a part of the team. Savannah has the support and inspiration she needs. She pushes herself to work hard and beat her previous times. Savannah would also like to participate after high school.
