Nick Teegarden is a junior and a runner for the Jefferson Morgan track team.

The track team goes up against many different schools. When asked what school Nick likes versing the most he said, “Bentworth and California are always a close meet. I like versing them the most because we always compete hard to beat them.”

Nick participates in track to get in shape for football season. Nick participates in track because he feels he can be a good help to the team to win events. His biggest fans are his parents. As a ritual, he wears a bracelet to every meet that his pap gave him. They always come to support him. He participates in the 100 and 200 meter dash, 4×1 relay, and high jump. This is Nick’s third year participating. He has lettered two times already.

“Winning my first track meet last year is my favorite memory of this sport,” says Nick.

In conclusion, Nick enjoys track. He plans to continue participating for the rest of high school. He also plans to letter this year and next year as well. He loves being a part of the team. Nick also enjoys helping his team members out.
