Shelby Rosinsky is a senior and a forward for the soccer team.

Shelby has been playing soccer since she was five years old. She lettered her freshmen, sophomore, and junior year. Shelby states “being able to play through exhaustion and backing up my team on anything,” to be most difficult. Her anger is what drives her to play her hardest. She uses it to her advantage.

Nike is Shelby’s favorite athletic brand to wear while playing. She has two main goals for this season. Shelby would like to score at least two goals this year and  would also like to make the playoffs. Her best performance took place in the South Fayette tournament against South Allegheny.

Shelby finds knowing that whatever may happen out on the soccer field; her team will always have her back, most rewarding. She will always have her teams back as well. She feels that players should always back each other up. If not, there is no point in playing. “Soccer is not a one man sport,” says Shelby.

Overall, Shelby always works her hardest. She would like to offer to other athletes to push their selves to the max and give it all they’ve got. Also, never give up on your team or yourself.
