Anna Mattish is a sophomore and is part of the Jefferson-Morgan Cheer Squad.

“Having the feeling knowing that I have my team by my side is the most rewarding thing”, says Anna.

She loves football season because she likes cheering for football the most.  Anna’s best moment from cheerleading is when her team won overall a-team and beat Charleroi for 1st place. Its was their team’s first 1st place trophy in 3 years.

“The most difficult aspect about cheerleading is being able to keep focus during a game”, said Anna.

Anna still has 2 more years to cheer for Jefferson, and she plans on cheering and playing basketball after she graduates. Anna has so much experience cheering she might even be the athlete high school students look up too.
