Abigail Nelson a freshman and a member of the girls basketball team.

Abigail is a three year basketball player, her position is guard.

The reason why Nelson plays basketball year after year is because it’s fun and she want’s to become better at it. 

Although she enjoys basketball there are challenges about basketball Nelson stated “ Getting myself to shoot when I don’t have confidence.” Nelson said she does not consider herself as a good athlete.

Something Nelson does to prepare for the season is get in shape and practice for shooting even more. Nelson said it doesn’t matter if the games or home either she still likes to play.

On big game days she becomes very superstitious.

 Nelson’s season goals are to shoot 20 points or more and become better at basketball.

Nelson also said what she does to get motivated is ’’To become better but have fun to and win”.
