Nicole Venick is a senior and is a member of the softball team, Venick has been playing softball now for 12 years.

“My favorite memory about softball was the Myrtle Beach trip my senior year, I hit two triples, and made a difficult catch on a gap shot. I enjoyed spending time with my friends,” said Venick

She says her favorite thing about playing softball is playing in left field.

Venick said, “My favorite team to compete against is West Greene because they are tough competition.”

Nikki says that the easiest team to play against would have to be Avella or Fort Cherry and the hardest teams to play against are West Greene and Charters Houston.

Venick said, “The worst thing about softball would be that I’m too hard on myself.”

“I got injured during softball because I wrapped my finger around the bat too far on a bunt and had it pinched between the ball and the bat,” said Venick.

Venick is excited for the softball season because she gets along well with her teammates and they make wonderful memories together.
