Sadie Fowler is a junior and a member of the softball team.

Fowler has been playing high school softball every freshman year. She has played left field since the beginning of her high school softball career. Fowler wanted to play softball because her older sister did and she wanted to be just like her. She made a lot of close friends due to softball.

“To become successful in anything, one must dedicate a lot of time to their goal. This has always been my plan,” said Fowler.

Fowler’s “lucky clothing” is her first ever glove. She brings it to every game and hopes it will bring her luck. One of her goals for this season is to work as hard as she can and improve her batting.

“I think that the most satisfying feeling is getting the person on third base out in an inning. It’s a great feeling,” said Fowler.

According to Fowler, a successful season would mean playing to the best of her ability. One of the games she is looking forward to is the Carmichael’s game.

“Sometimes it’s hard to determine where the ball is coming from in the outfield. There is also a lot of long distance throwing. Those are some of the difficulties I have to face while playing in the outfield,” said Fowler.

Fowler hopes to improve her skills and become an even better softball player. She is hoping for a great season this year with many wins.
