Gavin Koratich Named Clarksville Lions Club October Student of the Month

Gavin Koratich, son of Michael and Tammy Koratich of Waynesburg, is Clarksville Lions Club Student of the Month of October. Gavin maintains a 4.12 grade point average.

Gavin is a member of the Leo Club, Golf Team, Foreign Language Club, Drama Club, Debate Team, Academic Team, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and is President of National Honor Society.

He was awarded the Fredrick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony award. Gavin is also a member of the 4.0 Club and has been recognized as a Junior Deacon for Calvary Baptist Church.

Gavin has volunteered his time volunteering for spaghetti dinners, Salvation Army bell ringing, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and Keeping PA Beautiful (Adopt a Highway) picking up litter. He has also helped fundraiser for Dancing with Colby’s stars and Kicking Cancer’s Butt Tournament.  He also  helps with Junior Church teaching and building planter boxes for residents to grow their own vegetables at Rolling Meadows nursing home.

In the fall, Gavin plans to attend college for a four year BA degree in History as a prerequisite to Law School.
