Dejia Jordan, daughter of Jennifer Botwright and Arthur Jordan of Mather, is named Clarksville Lions Club April Student of the Month. She maintains a 3.79 grade point average.

She is a member of the Art Club, Leo Club, Foreign Language Club and a new inductee of National Honor Society.

Dejia has been recognized as a Remarkable Rocket, by the President’s Educational Awards Program, and is the recipient of the  National NAACP Outstanding Scholastic Academic Achievement Award (7th-11th grade.)

Jordan volunteers her time at the Greene County Humane Society, and participates in Leo Club roadside and courtyard clean up, and with the school’s weekend backpack program.

In the fall, Dejia will attend Indiana University of Pennsylvania to study Studio Art.
