Students from across the region are able to take a stand against dating violence during Teen Dating Violence Awareness month by participating in a Southwest PA Says No More video contest.

Young adults and teenagers are at the highest risk for all forms of dating violence, including verbal,
emotional, physical and sexual abuse. Teens are also uniquely positioned to influence their peers’ behavior by distinguishing early signs of controlling behavior and intervening to stop abuse.

Students will make a 3-5 minute video showing why they say no to teen dating violence and abuse.

Entries can be submitted by individuals or a group – junior high through college.

$200 cash will be given to the first place winner, $100 to second place, and $50 for runner up.

All entries are due on February 28th, 2019 no later than 4:00 p.m!
