On Thursday, February 21st, the Middle-School Library Club traveled to the Benedum Center For The Preforming Arts in Pittsburgh to see Broadway’s, “Phantom of the Opera”

The Phantom of the Opera is a musical with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Charles Hart. Based on the eponymous French novel by Gaston Leroux, its central plot revolves around a beautiful soprano, Christine Daaé, who becomes the obsession of a mysterious, disfigured musical genius living in the subterranean labyrinth beneath the Paris Opéra House.

Accompanied by Mrs. Rogers and Mrs. Cochran, students were able to enjoy a live musical performance, ballet dancing, fine-arts acting, opera singing and much more. The Library Club would like to thank both Mrs. Rogers and Mrs. Cochran as well as the school board for allowing them to experience this!

The last showing in Pittsburgh will be held on March 3rd at 1:00 P.M.! If you would like to buy tickets for Broadways. “Phantom of the Opera” you can visit Broadways website!
