Austin Clark- Athlete Biography

Austin Clark is a senior and is a wide receiver and quarterback for the football team.

This is Austin’s second year of football, but feels obligated to make this year the most memorable. “You can never go back after graduation and play with your friends.” His goals for the season are just to have the best senior year possible. Austin enjoys football and would recommend it to other students because it is fun to play with your peers.

Austin finds many rewarding in playing football. The thing he enjoys most from playing is being coach by a staff he thinks is best. The Jefferson-Morgan football team is coached by Liam Ryan. The assistant coaches are Dave Friend, Dennis Garrett, Aaron Giorgio, and Bill Phillips. Austin feels lucky to get to play for this coaching staff and feels they have taught him and the team a lot.

Austin has played in several games and can think of things that he has done well in each of them. He has one game that he considered to be the best he has ever played in. “Last year’s game against Vincentian Academy was the best I have ever played. I had a one handed interception.”  He is really optimistic and looking forward to the rest of the games.

Austin lettered in football last year, this takes some pressure off him. He now can focus on relaxing enjoying his senior year. Like he has said, “You can never go back.”
