Colton Davidson is an eighth grader and also a member on the football team.

He has been playing football for nine years; he started when he was still an elementary school student. He answered that he enjoys getting touchdowns and “knocking people to the ground.”According to Colton, his best performance was during his eighth grade year; where he scored fourteen touchdowns during a season.

Being a running back and also an outside linebacker, Colton says that “the reason I play is because it has been a tradition through my family.” Another reason for playing is because it’s one of his favorite sports and he couldn’t imagine doing anything else.Another reason he plays is because he is inspired by two professional football players; Anthony Barr and Jadeveon Clowney. Some advice he gives is to “Come to practice, it helps.”  He has said that he tries his best to follow his own advice, and successfully does so.

His goal so far is to continue playing and to make it onto the team during freshman year.  He has also shown that he is definitely interested in the idea of playing in college and will most likely do so.
