Tyler Wilson is a freshman and is a member of the football team.

Wilson has been playing football for 6 years. He plays the positions right guard and defensive tackle. His father was a big motivation for him to start playing the sport.

“My goal for this season is to give maximum effort every play,” says Wilson. Tyler likes to stay focused before games.

Wilson’s favorite thing about football is his teammates who he looks at as family. One game that he is looking forward to this season is the upcoming game against West Greene.

When asked if he had any advice to give to someone who wants to join football Wilson said, “It is a good time but be ready to put in the work.” He also said, “Conditioning is the hardest thing about football.”

Football is a sport that Wilson plans to continue playing until he graduates. If the opportunity were to come up for him to pursue football after high school he would love to take it up.

Wilson feels really good about this years season. He feels that the team is getting better each week. Good luck to Tyler Wilson and the rest of the football team this season.
