Surviving the Bus

Most kids that go to school get there by riding the bus. The majority of these kids do not like to ride the bus either. School buses are very convenient for student transportation to and from school especially when a student’s parents are unable to take them and pick them up due to their jobs. The bus ride itself is not so convenient. School buses are usually packed with kids mostly on Fridays evenings when no one has sports or after school activities and students are riding with other students because they are going to stay at their house over the weekend. This can make everyone feel claustrophobic because of all the kids and all the kids’ book bags and such. Also, it can get hot due to all the body heat there is. Buses also smell really bad. It can also get loud with all the commotion. The best way to survive this is too bring headphones to listen to music and block out the sounds of the other students. Also sitting by a window can help distract a student from all the chaos going on. This can also help the bus ride to seem shorter than it really is.
