Perspective Matters

Olivia Lowery

There will always be that situation where someone wants to do one thing, but another wants to do something else. That is why all friends need to compromise, and find an in-between could. If someone wants to go to the mall, but their friend just really want to go to the movies, don’t pick a fight. Compromise go to the mall and rent a movie at home together, or whatever works best. There is so much more in life than fighting with a best friend over something silly. People never know when they’re going to get to see their best friend next. Some best friends live far away, some go to a different school and some live right down the road. There are all disadvantages and advantages to a relationship. Don’t spend  time bickering, make amends. There are plenty of things to do in the world, so there should be one thing two friends can agree on. For example, go skating, bowling or even go swimming.  Yes, some things cost money, or  transportation is needed, and things at home are boring, but friends can make something up. They could ask to go for a walk, or do whatever can be done to spend some quality time with their best friend. Don’t just look on one end, look on a friends end also. There isn’t always a solution, but there are definitely loop holes. Students try to figure out something ahead of time before the plans are made. There are many fun things that can be made while spending time with a close or best friend.
