Family tradition

Every year on holidays is it tradition in my family to get together and have a big dinner to celebrate. We usually gather at my grandma’s house. There we get to ride horses on the farm. She also has an indoor pool so we get to go swimming any time of the year. On the holidays later on in the year, we get together and watch some of the NFL football games. Most of the games we watch are for the Pittsburgh Steelers, my family’s favorite team. On holidays like thanksgiving we have a bigger meal than usual with a more variety of foods. After that night, I and some of the girls in my family like to go black Friday shopping together. Many Christmas presents are bought that night for other members of my family and friends. On Christmas Eve we go visit distant family. On Christmas morning we wake up and open all our presents. After that we go to other family member’s houses to have a dinner then following that we hand out and open gifts. On occasions earlier on in the year during spring and summer we get together and throw parties outdoors. These parties are usually for the 4th of July and Easter. We play different games like kickball, wiffle ball, volleyball, corn hole and football. In my family we take these games pretty serious and can get pretty competitive at times. These traditions are some things that I would like to carry on for many generations to come.
