Christmas Tree-Real or Artificial

Christmas Trees are part of the main focus of Christmas, but one question can be heard from families everywhere; real or artificial? The answer usually resides with family tradition. Families may have the certain tradition of always using the same ornaments, lights, garlands, and type of tree. Also, it may reside with the fact of which is easier. Artificial trees are usually easier because they come pre-shaped, needles do not fall of the tree causing you to have to vacuum, and the needles do not hurt if someone were to touch them. Also, if you have someone in your family who is allergic to pine needles, you cannot have a real tree as you are risking the factor of a severe allergic reaction, and you have to pay a yearly fee to buy a new real tree every year, whereas buying an artificial one you can re-use it every year. However, if it is a tradition in the home, people may just want a real tree to keep the tradition going. Also, there may be other reasons such as someone enjoying the smell of fresh pine in their house. It is really up to a person’s opinion and tradition of what they want for Christmas.
