Gaming Systems Should not Replace Real People

Loving an inanimate object as much or more than a person is horrible in my opinion. Especially if you are in a relationship with a person. There is some understanding for pets that have been with them for a while because they would be considered part of the family, but if they’re getting ditched because their boyfriend or girlfriend wants to spend more time on their gaming system is uncalled for. It would be really sad knowing that the two always fought because the other did not care for them as much. Yes, some relationships can be difficult if neither or only one of them cares for the relationship. Think about it, would you rather spend your life playing Xbox and wasting your life away, or actually find someone to be with that can make you happy? A gaming system can make someone happy for a while until that person just gets bored of it. If someone had another person to be around that they loved, they would not get bored because that person can keep them entertained for hours on end.  If someone enjoys playing video games, then that’s fine, but if they devote their life to doing just that instead of paying attention to their significant other, then that will definitely cause some issues between them.
