David Blaker is a senior on the Jefferson Morgan baseball team.

“I love watching the Pirates on TV, even when I was younger I loved it.  Watching the Pirates is what made me want to play the sport,” said Blaker.

Blaker has played the game of baseball for ten years. Blaker says, ‘’the love of the game is what kept me playing for all of these years.”

The person that Blaker looks up to playing the sport of baseball is Roberto Clemente. Roberto Clemente has been a role model to Blaker for most of his life.

Blaker said, “I am looking forward to this season because this is my last year playing with my teammates and having fun.”

The position that Blaker plays is center field.

Blaker says what he wants to accomplish this year is to, ‘’keep a .400 batting average and to not commit any errors.”

The team that Blaker is looking forward to playing against the most would be Carmichaels, their rivals.
