Krista McCartney is a junior and has played softball for 13 years.

McCartney’s most memorable game is when the team went to sectionals and WPIAL and won.

“I like to listen to music to warm me up,” McCartney commented. 

The goal she has is to try and hit more home runs because she has hit one so far this season. 

“I can play in any position the coach puts me in, but I am mainly 2nd base,” McCartney said.

McCartney enjoys the sport and playing with her friends, but there are some downsides.

“It is frustrating when teammates argue at practice or before games. I, also do not like when my teammates do not try,” commented McCartney.

McCartney hopes to continue her career and keep playing.

“I play this sport because I am good at what I do. I would also like to continue my career in college.”
