Volleyball Seniors Reflect on 2014 Season

As fall comes to an end, so has the 2014 Volleyball season.  For Morgan Kendall, Jessica Taylor and Maddie Dupont, it was their last season as a member of the team.

“Beating Waynesburg is my favorite memory of this year. I wish I would have worked harder in the beginning of the season,” said Morgan Kendall. All of the seniors had memories that they will cherish forever, and friendships that will last a lifetime.

The season came to an end on October 16th, as the girls fell short against Carmichaels (3-1). The loss not only meant that the season was over, but also meant that the Carmichaels game would be the last game that Morgan, Jess, and Maddie will put on a Jefferson-Morgan volleyball jersey again.

“My best performance was against Carmichaels, I had 29 digs, 19 service points, and 7 aces. I would love to change how I worked in the beginning of the season, and to make playoffs and beat Carmichaels,” said Jess Taylor.

All of the seniors had a memorable season and will be truly missed next year. All three girls are sad that the season has ended, but also very happy about the time they got with the girls this season.
