The season of winter has many people’s favorite holidays.

You do this by giving gifts and receiving gifts. Many people also enjoy looking at other’s decorations for Christmas. It is a very festive holiday in many ways. Also, a large meal usually takes place on this day, just like Thanksgiving. “I like receiving gifts more than giving them,” said Noah Barno. This is one of many people’s favorite holidays.

Also, Thanksgiving is around the same time. Thanksgiving is all about being thankful for stuff you have. Also, people use Thanksgiving as a day to prepare for Christmas, and usually consists of a large meal of traditional foods such as turkey, stuffing, corn, pumpkin pie, and mashed potatoes. Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving, and it is a large sale for many stores all over the United States so people can buy Christmas presents cheap. Millions of people participate in this every year.

Last, Valentine’s Day is in the winter. This is a day to show love and respect for your significant other, or even family. This can include cards, letters, gifts, and flowers. 61.8% of consumers participate in Valentine’s Day. “I don’t enjoy Valentine’s day because I am a loner,” said Noah Barno. Noah hopes to stay single for Valentine’s Day in 2015.

People emphasize certain things in holidays as well, and do not do as much in holidays or celebrate them the same way. People celebrate Christmas for just the giving and receiving of gifts, instead of celebrating the religious aspect of it. This is the same with other holidays as well. However it is the person’s holiday to choose how they want to celebrate it.
