The Scholastic Book Fair is back at Jefferson Morgan, and this is the last week for it. Students who would like to visit the book fair can go down to the library anytime of the school day, and look at what books are for sale. The scholastic book fair only comes around once a year, and is only here for a couple weeks. Even If students don’t plan on buying, it’s at least worth going and looking at what is available and what interests you.

The scholastic book fair has books for all age groups in the middle school and high school, as well as plenty of different genres. This will be the final day of the book fair at Jefferson Morgan, but if you missed the book fair you can still shop online. The book fair profits go towards organizations and charities that allow struggling students and the unprivileged access to books that they couldn’t have access to before.

Carlos Thistlewaite said, “I don’t usually go to any other library or buy books online, but since the book fair was at the library this week I was able to get a few interesting books.”

This year’s featured theme of the book fair is a 60’s peace theme, with the slogan “peace, love, and BOOKS!” With the theme comes plenty of books to match the theme. Books will still be on sale in the library until the start of 6th period, February 26th, but there may still be some last minute title still available for those who missed it.
