Tonight at 7:30, Jefferson-Morgan tips off against the California Trojans.  The result of the game will determine section champion.

The Trojans have maintained a 10-0 section record and are 19-1 overall.  “The Trojans are well coached, have good size with Huffman and Huhn, and have experience with big games,” stated Kayla Yorko.

A win for the Rockets means that California and Jefferon would be co-section champs.  Also, a win tonight for the Rockets would mean a first ever recognition on the girls basketball banner in the gym.

The Rockets are looking forward to the game this evening.  “We have a great attitude and play well as a team.  Also, we are scrappy,” said Yorko.

The 9-1 Rockets have already clinched a playoff berth.
