If you do not take high school seriously, your chances of getting into a college or university are not good. If someone takes high school seriously and they try their best, chances are that they will do good. They will be able to get into a good college and get a good job in the future.

Students should also take high school seriously because it can help you in the future. If you do not come to school a lot, or you are late to school a lot, colleges and jobs can see that. If you never show up to class or you come in late, that college or job will not want you to come work for them because they will think that you will not show up to work when someone is supposed to.
