Friends are a wonderful blessing in life. Best friends are an even better blessing. It is always nice to know that when something goes wrong you can turn to them to help with making things better. Somehow friends just always seem to makes things a little better. Friendship is a beautiful thing to have, and I am so thankful for the friendships that I have in my life.

I wouldn’t know what I would do in my life if I did not have my friends. My friends have made me the person I am today. Friends help with getting each other to express your true inner self, which is very important to me. Being myself is one of my top priorities in life. My friends have helped me express my true inner self in many amazing ways that parents and siblings could never do. I can be myself more with my friends than I can with my parents and siblings. They won’t ever judge me like my family probably would. I like that. I like that I am so comfortable with my best friends that I can always be myself with them. That feeling where you know you can be yourself with someone and they will be themselves will you is a great feeling. It’s an honoring feeling almost. I feel honored that someone wants to be themselves will me. I am more than glad that my friends don’t mind me being my weird, crazy self around them.

Friends/best friends make all the bad times good. They make me smile when I’m sad, laugh when I’m upset, they calm me down when I’m mad. They have seen me at my best and they have seen me at my worst. We share our most innermost feelings thoughts with each other without fear of judgment. Whatever I get myself into, I know they are going to be there for me, whether the situation goes down a good path or a bad one. They are the ones I have my best memories with, my hardest laughs with, and my biggest smiles with. They make my problems theirs and I make theirs mine so that they do not have to go through them alone. I would not trade my best friends for anything in the world. They mean the world to me.

My best friends aren’t considered best friends to me. They are my sisters and brothers. They are my family. They are the ones who understand my past, believe in my future, and accept me just the way that I am. I am more than grateful for the beautiful souls that I call my best friends.
