The month of March has arrived and that can only mean one thing in the sports world, “March Madness.” March Madness is a term describing the name of the tournament that happens in order to decide a National Champion in the sport of college basketball.

Everyone goes crazy when the teams start playing, hence the name “madness” and everyone nowadays is rushing to get that perfect bracket that will not only guarantee them bragging rights but a whole lot of money as well. I like the tournament personally, I like to see the teams I picked to win, actually win and I’m very happy, because it allows me to think I might actually become the one to win it all.

In the past 5 years the whole perfect bracket phenomena has become an annual thing that sports fans and everyday people want to do, because it shows who they would pick to win and put chances on their brackets and seeing if they have the one which wins them the grand prize. Last year, everyone was filling out brackets left and right, due to the offer made by Warren Buffett, which was that if someone who had the magic bracket, he would pay them an outright payment of $1 billion. This topic is so controversial and is an ongoing thing that people still believe that they could have the bracket that wins them everything they dreamed about.

In conclusion, the tournament is a fun time, because it allows people to express how they feel not only about the teams and players, but more about the sport. More people would watch the basketball tournament overall than other tournaments related to different sports. It is intense and has now become very competitive between fans, due to the value that the game brings to the table.
